William Harper

This journey started when he was born, in Orlando, in 1988.

 

For high school, he attended MLK Jr. Magnet in Nashville, TN, which is where he was introduced to 3D computer-assisted drafting using Autodesk Inventor.

 

From 2006 to 2016 he studied at Middle TN State University where he was a graduate teaching assistant in the Experimental Vehicles Program, a whitewater guide in the outdoor program, and a student representative on the Clean Energy Committee.

He received a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science in 2011 with a concentration in Energy Technology and studied for a Masters in Engineering Management.

 

He has been a lifeguard, a cook, a dishwasher,  a kayak and whitewater-rafting guide, an intern for Griffin Technology, an upholstery apprentice, a construction worker, a design engineer for Integrity Tool and Mold, Coburn's Exclusive and much more including a radio show host on WRFN sponsored by the TN Green Party.

His goal is to develop an open-source, transparent business that deals with solutions to environmental issues, science, and creative expression.
​

Currently, he resides in Madison, TN, and spends a majority of his time 3D-printing and designing in CAD in and around Nashville.
